SideCho Records Looking for a Summer Internship? Of course you are, and it's just your luck that we are looking for some summer interns. We are currently interviewing applicants for internships with SideCho Records. Please keep in mind, our offices are located in Signal Hill, CA (in Southern CA) and therefore are only taking resumes from those that live here or are planning to be here for the summer. If you are interested, please email a cover letter and resume to annette@sidecho.com with the subject "SideCho Intern." The cover letter should describe your aspirations in the music industry (AKA what you want to do in the biz) as well as why you'd like to intern for us and why you think you'd be a good intern. If you're not sure what you want to do in the industry, don't worry about it. This internship will actually help you figure that out! Tom of Myspace Mentions SideCho Records on MTV! Hey, check out this neat clip of Tom (yeah, the Myspace guy) talking about SideCho and Sherwood on MTV!! The SideCho website even made it into the video!! Click here to view. Blinded Black New Blinded Black Tour Dates If you missed the band when they were on tour with LoveHateHero, Vanna and Morello, no sweat! The boys are gonna be on tour with Dance Gavin Dance and A Skylit Drive through July and August. Stay tuned for the tour dates.

Blinded Black Needs Your Help! Alternative Press magazine is holding a "Fake Cover Contest" where bands have to create their own fake AP cover and get their fans to post the cover as their default image on Myspace. The band with the most people sporting their fake cover by the middle of June will get the image reprinted in AP with a little Q&A. Cool huh? So here's where YOU come in: Step 1: Go to Blinded Black's Myspace page (myspace.com/blindedblack) and save their current default picture to your computer. Step 2: Upload that picture to YOUR Myspace profile and set it as YOUR default picture. Step 3: Head over to groups.myspace.com/apfakecovercontest and join the group.

That's it! The contest ends June 10th but don't lag!! AP will be tallying votes throughout the month at random intervals, so it's in your best interest to leave the cover as your default for the entire month to make sure your vote counts. Final tallies will be made on June 11th and 12th, with winners being announced on June 13.

Peachcake Help Peachcake Create Their Album Artwork! That's right, you heard it correctly. Peachcake is asking for you to submit images of your own artwork/artistic creations to potentially be included/used within the album artwork for their new album, "What year will you have the World?.." Anything goes, but the band would prefer the art to follow a "World, worldly, or worldview" theme or perspective (hence the album title). Think: Peachcake microcosm or mini-world. The Only Children Keeper of Youth Now In Stores!!!

Everyone at SideCho Records is excited to finally say that The Only Children's debut full-length on SideCho is officially out today, May 22nd. Fronted by Josh Berwanger (formerly of The Anniversary), The Only Children's Keeper of Youth is 11 tracks reminiscent of rock from the 70s and features guest appearances by Matthew Pryor of the Get Up Kids and the New Amsterdams, Casey Prestwood of Hot Rod Circuit and Patrick Carrie of Limbeck. The album itself has been getting great feedback, including this quote from Spin.com: "Christina Aguilera isn't the only artist bringing it 'back to basics,' and after one riff from the Only Children, you may want to give the latter more credit."
